Lion Cubs Children’s Ministry is a fun, safe environment for children ages 4–9 to learn about God at their level. Through Bible stories, music, games, and hands-on activities, kids discover that God loves them and Jesus is their friend. Our goal is to build a strong foundation of faith while helping every child feel welcomed, valued, and excited to come to church.

Childrens Director Kara Woodburn
Kara serves as the Director of the Lion Cubs Children’s Ministry at Family Worship Center of the Wabash Valley. She has a heart for children and a passion to help young kids grow in their understanding of God’s love. Kara creates a welcoming and caring environment where children ages 4–11 can learn about the Bible through fun lessons, music, activities, and prayer.
She is dedicated to making church a place where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to come each week. Her desire is to help children build a strong foundation of faith and begin their own relationship with Jesus at an early age.
